Enquiries & Questions:

About Tara Hills Retreat Centre

Tara Hills Retreat Centre is near Brukunga, just past Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. It is about one hour from the city.

It is in beautiful, peaceful surroundings studded with large gums and overlooking a gully. There is plenty of bird life, and kangaroos and beautiful views towards the Coorong. There are peaceful walks directly from the Retreat Centre.

Over the five days there will be time in between yoga sessions and meals to discover the surrounds, walk, read and relax and recover from the constraints of day to day living responsibilities.

Tara Hills provides a purpose built yoga and meditation centre with a large yoga room overlooking the landscape, a dining room, comfortable accommodation and outdoor areas.

There are 14 rooms altogether. All rooms are comfortable and well insulated. The 6 standard single rooms, each have a comfortable bed, cupboard and heater.

Linen and a warm doona are provided. If you need extra warmth please bring blankets. All linen is provided, but I suggest that you bring along an old towel for morning abhyanga self oil massage.

The single rooms share three bathrooms, each with five toilets and four showers. There are 2 standard singles with ensuite (these are new additions to the Walden main accommodation block).

The other 4 rooms in the more luxury accommodation area above, have ensuites. Two rooms have 2 king single beds, and two rooms have a Queen size bed. These rooms can be with single or shared occupancy (you to arrange who you may wish to share with).
